V Mladinskem centru Prlekije, na Spodnjem Kamenščaku, je med poletjem potekal projekt Erasmus+ Mednarodno sožitje. Gostili smo mlade iz Italije, Jordanije, Grčije, Romunije in Slovenije. Vsebina projekta je poudarjala samooskrbo, zeleno politiko in medgeneracijsko sožitje. Med drugim smo ob večernih urah spoznali netopirje in njihovo akrobacijsko predstavo nad travniškim sadovnjakom.

To whom it may concern, the lecture that was given to us by Ms. Jasmina was well-presented. It explained the kinds of bats in detail with the explanations that they live for a long time although they can carry a lot of diseases. Today we had the chance to actually listen to the sounds of bats thanks to Ms. Jasmina, which was the first time in my life. It was an amazing experience.

During our Erasmus project in Slovenia we had the opportunity to discover the bats’ world. This was quite interesting since we’ve never heard about these animals in detail. Ms Jasmine explained that there are different species of bats, about their weight and height, their sexual reproduction and so on. The most exciting moment was when she showed us a female bat that is in recovery care and we were able to touch it and feed it. We will think about this lecture every time we see a bat flying in our Italian nature.
